How to Wear a Dashiki

Dashiki's (pronounced dah-she-key) are long tunic-like tops featuring a rich pattern with vibrant colors. Sometimes the top is so beautiful, its hard to determine what to wear with it!
In this post you will find two of the most popular ways to wear and style a dashiki shirt.
Pants or Leggings
Depending on the size of the dashiki, you can wear over a pair of comfortable leggings or jeans and wear it as a top. This generally works well with dashikis that are sized based (small, medium, large, etc.). However with dashikis that are onesize fits all, use a belt to tie at the waist to get a cinched tunic look.

Wear As a Dress
With longer dashikis (generally the onesize fits all dashikis) are great to wear as a dress. Depending on your height, it can be pretty long to super short when styling as a dress. Where short under the dashiki to give the appearance of wearing a dress, while also not showing too much. Put on your favorite heels or flats and you're all set to go!
